Selected as one of “Canada’s best emerging musicians” for Pepsi and MuchMusic’s Youth Music Movement, The Broadway Bullies are truly a band who are “passionate, talented and unique” (TheProvince). The Broadway Bullies are a Western Canadian rock band from Calgary, AB formed in 2007. The band consists of childhood friends Angus McNeilly (vocals), Christo Paulson (lead guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals), Zach "Jimmylegs" O'Reilly (bass guitar), and Mason Amlee (drums, percussion, vocals). Known for their extravagant live performances and their unique brand of urban-influenced neo-classic rock and roll, The Bullies have toured relentlessly throughout Canada and the US in support of their two studio albums: The Meat Between The Buns (2010), and Shake My Bones (2015). The Bullies also released a separate single/music video, Midnight Man (2012), produced by the Pepsi Youth Music Movement (12tracks.tv/s10). After a short time playing clubs in Vancouver, the Bullies won the Supernova Van Sessions 2010 Battle of the Bands. The prize (a full studio EP produced by Jonathan Fluevog at Vogville studios) allowed the bullies to cut their first demo which later became, The Meat Between The Buns. While performing incessantly around Los Angeles CA, the Bullies soon caught the attention of Grammy Award winning producer/engineer Mike Plotnikoff, who, with Igor Khoroshev of the Grammy Award winning band Yes, produced their latest album entitled, Lunch Money.
