Founded in 2014, Volunteer Media is a Canadian owned and operated WCMA Nominated independent record label, music publishing / artist & label services company that represents hundreds of releases from artists throughout Canada and the US. It's releases are distributed internationally by The Orchard (a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment), as well as physically exported to various retail and wholesale accounts across the globe via Burnside Distribution Corporation / other affiliated international distribution partners.

Volunteer Media’s catalog includes releases from BC based JUNO Award winning artists Moka Only, Prevail (Swollen Members), and Elaine "Lil'Bit" Shepherd to collaborative projects with the likes of Snoop Dogg. Volunteer Media is a member in good standing with the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) and SOPROQ.
