poetic audio experience by devan

devan's story with poetry began in 2008, when he was just 16 years old. Accompanied by a couple friends, devan recorded his very first rap songs in the back of his parent's minivan. What started as a fun hobby between friends, quickly evolved into the pursuit of a career in rap for over a decade. In 2018, devan released his final album under the stage name '', and made the pivot to a successful and exciting career behind the camera.

Some passions never fade, however. devan kept quietly writing, and in 2022, unknowingly began writing what would become his debut poetry album under the brand new stage name; devan. This album would explore themes of heartbreak, grief, the journey of self discovery, and even depression. A heavy album, with incredible impact.

This name change is credited to his growth as a human, artist, and the desire to create art with no bounds. Everything is simply.. devan.
